  2. Meanwhile in a pan we will add jaggery and 1 tbsp water bring it to boil on medium heat and let jaggery melts completely.keep boiling for 6- 7 minutes or until the syrup turns frothy and changes the color dark.
  3. Now check the consistency by dropping syrup into a bowl of water,it should form hard ball and cut with the snap sound,else boil for another minute and check.
  4. Keep the heat on low and add slowly the coarsely grounded sesame seeds mix them well with jaggery syrup and switch off the heat.
  5. Now in another warm heavy flat pan coat the ghee and transfer the mixture to that pan,if you have another heavy vessel you can use. Now first pound the whole mixture with the help of greased pestle or the rolling pin for a minute.
  6. After that take out the small portion from mixture and pound nicely by folding it towards inside and give round shape like tilkut. One by one pound all the portion into tilkut.
