  6. 3 medium size aloo/potato
  7. 1 tsp sambar powder masala
  8. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  9. as per taste salt
  10. 1 tbsp oil
  11. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  12. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  13. 1 tsp black gram
  14. 1 tsp bengal gram

Instructions to make to make Phulke & aloo sabzi

  1. In a, mixing bowl add atta, salt, a tsp oil mix well.. now adding water prepare soft dough, knead for 5minutes, cover the lid.. let it rest
  2. Now for aloo sabzi peel the potatoes wash it and chop in to thin slices, put it in bowl of water to avoid extra starch, now heat up deep sauce pan
  3. Add in mustard seeds, cumin seeds, black gram, bengal gram, curry leaves, saute for 2-3 minutes, now add potato slices, 1/2tsp turmeric, &salt, simmer the flame, cover it and cook until done, (stir in between 1 or 2 times
  4. Take out the lid add sambar masala powder, give it a good mix.. and take out, it's done
  5. Now will make phulke, knead the dough well again make equal size small balls, roll out thin(use dry flour) now place it on hot tawa.. slightly roast both sides, take out and directly keep on the flame, your phulke will puff up like pooris..serve soft phulke with aloo baaji..
