- 1 cup fine wheat flour
- 1 cup coarse wheat flour
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp carom seeds

- 1/2 tsp hing/asafoetida
- 2 tsp green chilli paste
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves finely chopped
- 1/3 cup water
- 3 tbsp ghee to roast

- Mix both types of wheat flour in a bowl and add all the ingredients except from water. Mix everything well. Now start adding little water at a time and make a stiff dough. Knead the dough and cover and keep it for 15 minutes.
- Now divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Now take one portion and roll it into a medium thick circle. Now with the use of a glass, cut it so that all bhakhri can be of similar shape (you can even keep it the way it is). Collect the extra dough and put it aside to make bhakhri. Make small cuts with a knife in the bhakhri.
- Prepare all bhakhri in the same way. Heat a pan on low heat. Now arrange bhakhri on top and roast it until pink from the bottom. Now flip it over.
- Let it become pink from the bottom and then apply some ghee on top. Press and roast it with the help of a wooden press or a cotton cloth. Roast it nicely from both sides so that it is of pink colour. Keep the heat low all the time, do not hurry to roast it as it will not be crispy and it will not be cooked from inside.
- Roast all the bhakhri in the same way. Let it cool down completely then only store it in an airtight container otherwise it will become soft.
- Coriander chilli biscuit bhakhri can be served with pickle, tea or coffee.
